Limerick Federation ICA Notes Week ending March 16th


SEACHTAIN NA GAEILGE:-
As we head up to Lá ‘le Pádraig we hope all guilds put in the extra effort to promote and preserve our Irish Culture. This is the time of the year when The Guild Timire encourages bilingualism among the guild members and you are all invited to the Oíche Gaelach being organised by Maura Walsh, Federation Timire. This event takes place in The Woodlands after the gardening talk on Tuesday March19th .Beidh fáilte agus fiche romhat. As 2013 is designated Bliain Na Gaeilge you can watch out for lots more Irish Language events during the year. For more details look up www.gaeilge 2013 .ie
AN GRIANÁN:-
On Wednesday March 20th An Grianán invites you to try out some Taster Courses.
The price is €55.00 per person .
Arrive in time for tea/coffee & scone @9.30am
3 course lunch @1pm and depart @4pm.

Beaded Jewellery
Interior Design
Facebook in Business
Smart Phones & Tablets – No need to fear them, it’s time to make the most of them!

Families Together  - Easter Break.
Calling all mothers ,grandmothers ,mothers-in-law ,daughters and daughters-in-law.
Get together and avail of the special concessions of 3 for the price of 2.
Choose one course per day from the following:-
Wed :Craft Workshop, Beaded Jewellery or Hip Hop Dancing
Thurs : Art Workshop, Card Making or Gardening for all ages.
Price : €55 per adult/€30 per Under 16’s

CRAFT DAY:-
Would all those interested in The Hairpin Crochet Craft Day please take note that the class starts at 10am and not 11am as stated in last week’s notes.The Craft Day takes place on March 23rd in The Millenium Centre Raheen . Tea and Coffee will be served and you are asked to bring a packed lunch and two balls of double knitting wool in two different colours. Contact Helen Doran at 086 2538636.
GARDENING:-
March is here so everybody should get out in the garden and enjoy a little DIY Gardening. It is very easy to grow your own salad crops and vegetables and you will have some really fresh produce to use later on. Gardening is growing in popularity so Limerick Federation is organising a Special Gardening Event on March 19th starting at 8pm
All are welcome men and women and admission is free.
