Letters of thanks from An Grianán , Milford Hospice and The Breast Cancer Research Centre in Galway all show how much the work done by ICA is appreciated. €2386 was collected at The Grocery Stall at Milford Hospice Harvest Fair and the final contributions have still to be added in so well done to all. There was lively banter and ‘craic’  in The ICA Stand in the Milk Market on National Volunteering Day Sept.30th  . ICA ladies from Mungret St. Pauls , Crecora, Grange, Cappamore, Murroe Boher , Feenagh, Castlemahon,  Ballingarry, Castletroy and Drombanna were all knitting for The Irish Heart Foundation. They were also joined by some prospective members and we look forward to having them in the organisation. Ann O Riordan from The Heart Foundation joined in on the knitting and the fun and we also thank those who gave contributions on the day.
The Milk Market in Limerick is a most interesting place and well worth a visit. They were most helpful and welcoming on the day and Niall O Keeffe   , the web designer for the market had a picture of the knitters on the web site before evening.
