An nóiméad a sheolann tú cárta, tá sé ina Nollaig
As soon as you send a card then it is Christmas
Limerick ICA Federation held a very successful winter meeting in The Woodlands Hotel Adare on Tue. Nov27th. The  President, Phyllis O Halloran told us that The new ICA Web Site was officially launched at The Winter Conference in The Red Cow Hotel Naas. Just look up ica.ie and you will be kept up to date with all that is happening in The Organisation.
The first print of The ICA Cookery Book is sold out so congratulations to all who sent in recipes.
Plans are under way for a new book in the Springtime so all guilds are asked to have a brain storm for ideas on handy hints and stories related to family, home and the kitchen .Write all these down and send them in to Federation Secretary Mary Moloney along with names of contributors.
HAVING YOUR SAY RESULTS:-
As a follow up to the questionnaire which was given out at The September Meeting  the President told us the results were very positive and all members enjoyed meeting members of other guilds and felt it was a good night out. On the negative side some members found meetings too long so this will be taken into account in the future. Another problem was the distance members had to travel to get to Federation Meetings. As a result it was decided to move one Federation Meeting to Deebert House in Kilmallock in 2013 and this will facilitate Guilds in East Limerick.
SOS TEA PARTIES:-
All Guilds who held Tea Parties for The Mental Wellness Workshops are asked to send on the money collected to Joan Hayes , Federation Treasurer. If any Guild still wants to hold a Tea Party then they should do so as soon as possible as Federation wishes to hold the first workshop early in the new year.
MEMBERS BENEFITS:-
There are over 60 Companies ,Businesses and other Organisations on The ICA members benefits list.
You can look them up on the ICA website details are also from guild secretaries. If you know of any companies in Limerick who would like to join the list then pass on the details to Limerick Federation Officers.
