Final Preperations for the National AGM L to R Mary Blackwell and Marie Hayes,Cappamore and Joan Hayes,Crecora
Centenary Celebrations
As the centenary celebrations continue it is now the turn of Limerick Federation to pull out all the stops.
It’s all systems go and every shoulder to the wheel as the forthcoming National ICA Annual General Meeting preparations are put in place. Federation President Anne Gabbett and her team are putting the final touches to what is anticipated to be a wonderful gathering on May 26 at Woodlands Hotel, Adare. Delegates from every corner of the country will start converging at the Hotel from Tuesday evening onward, in readiness for the following day. A Civic reception has been arranged for later that evening, followed by entertainment for all, giving an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. The occasion will allow the participants to render their party pieces in music, song, dance and verse.
However there will be an early start on Wednesday morning with all the organising team on duty by 08.30 hours. The AGM commences at 10.30 sharp.
Limerick voting delegates are reminded to have their registration completed not later than 10.00 sharp and should be available in the conference hall meeting and greeting the visitors as they arrive. All Limerick guilds should advise their members accordingly.
There is a considerable amount of business to be transacted at the AGM and National President Anne Maria Dennison is fully confident that her Limerick colleagues will, as always, ensure that the business of the day runs smoothly and efficiently.
