Getting your own back
To check your Mobile Phone’s serial number, key in the following on your phone; * # 06 #
A 15-digit code will appear on the screen, which is unique to your handset.
Record this number and keep in safe place. Should you loose your phone contact your service provider with this code. They will then be in a position to block your handset making it totally useless to anybody else even if the Sim Card is changed. Whoever finds it cannot either use or sell it !
