Condolences are extended to Drombanna ICA member Ann Madigan
on the recent death of her brother Mr Ger Power Bohernore, Knocklong.
Ger is deeply mourned by his wife Kathleen, sons, daughter and extended family RIP Following Requiem Mass at St Joseph's Church, Knocklong on Saturday
November 13 his remains were interred in the adjoining cemetery.

Members are reminded that Winter Federation Meeting will be held on Tuesday November 23 at Woodlands Hotel, Adare commencing at 8pm.An opportunity exists to meet newly appointed CEO Mr John O’Callaghan and National Secretary Liz Wall Nat Secretary who will be in attendance..
News from the Guilds
Ballingarry’s Nov Guest speaker was the very talented Meg Kenny from "Meg Kenny Design." Meg is a well-known textile artist and craftsperson and a past president of the Mid Western branch of the IPS (Irish Patchwork Society). She showed examples of her award-winning work and discussed the various techniques used also the “story” behind each piece. It was an immensely interesting and uplifting evening.
Castletroy members are holding ‘Christmas Fair’ in Kilmurry Lodge Hotel,

Competitions
Reminder to submit your entry to art quiz /word search with the names of 30 artists, poets, writers, composers and sculptors to Arts officer Mary Moloney Ballinagarde Cottage, Ballyneety by Monday Nov 22.

Counselling Service
The ICA counselling service is available to all members and their families. Contact may be made through 1850652652 (cost of local call) and a room is available at Central office for one to one meetings if necessary. The counsellor also makes herself available at council meetings and an appointment is recommended
Artisans Craft Fair
Christmas fairs will be held in Limerick Milk Market, which is an all weather facility, on November 25, December 7, 8, 9 from 12.00 midday to7pm. Demonstrations by artisans throughout the day. Should you fancy making your own Christmas wreath workshops will be available throughout these days. A floral demonstration will be given this Thursday November 18 at Limerick Milk Market by Siobhan Downey of Zen Blooms. This will commence at 1pm and there is no charge.
