Limerick Federation will host a Cookery Demonstration with Edward Hayden, celerity chef and author of ‘Edward Entertains’ on Wednesday February 23,2011 commencing at 8pm. The venue is Woodlands Hotel, Adare and tickets €20 each are available from all Guild and Federation members.

This popular RTÉ TV health show, presented by Dr Mark Hamilton and Dr Nina Byrnes, is back and are looking for people to participate. The health clinic will be coming to Parkway Shopping Centre, Limerick on Friday and Saturday February 11 and 12 2011 They are interested in all health concerns and medical complaints. Spring Federation Meeting
Limerick Federation will hold its Spring Federation gathering on Wednesday February 16,commencing at 8pm in Woodlands Hotel, Adare.Lots of competition results, holiday arrangements etc on the night. All members welcome.

The next conference will be held in Tower Hotel, Waterford on Saturday March 12 commencing at 10.30am.Should you require accommodation do book on line for special rate, and remember to bring your ICA membership card. Enjoy the conference.

News From the Guilds
Kilbehenny ICA finished off last year with a visit to an Abba Show in Waterford’s Theatre Royal, preceded by fine dining in the Tower Hotel.
As many of their members are proficient in knitting they are now organising a ‘learn to knit programme’ which is open to all in the area. This will be followed by assistance with other crafts. Following the success of last year’s four-day tour to Donegal planning for this year’s tour in June is in progress and already attracting much interest
Ballyagran members extend their condolences to their colleague Nellie Cagney on the death of Nellie’s sister Hannah Lehane Newmarket, Co Cork. Mrs Lehane’s funeral took place on January 15 to Clonfert Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
Information Officers
Guilds have now been allocated their Information Officer for the coming year with notice that all AGM’s be completed before Federation AGM on Tuesday April 26. Do consult with your guilds information officer at the next federation meeting .
