Edward Entertains Tonight
Limerick Federation will host a Cookery Demonstration with Edward Hayden, celerity chef and author of ‘Edward Entertains’ on this Wednesday February 23,2011 commencing at 8pm. The venue is Woodlands Hotel, Adare and tickets €20 each are available from all Guild and Federation members.

A Slow Revolution
This four-part social history chronicles the highlights of the first hundred years of the Irish Countrywomen’s Association, using archive footage and photographs together with contributions from members. The first episode was shown on TG4 on Sunday February 20 and will continue on the following Sunday nights.  This programme will also be repeated on Fridays. Míle Buíochas to all  who assisted with the making of the programme ,for providing, from their records photographs of ICA events and information on past activities .Enjoy the remaining programmes. 
New ICA Guilds
Following a requests for the setting up of a new ICA guild, an information meeting has been arranged in The Courtney Lodge Hotel, Newcastle West on Thursday March 10 ,commencing at 8pm, All interested ladies from Newcastle West and surrounding areas are invited to attend.

Regional Conference Waterford

The next ICA conference will be held in Tower Hotel, Waterford on Saturday March 12 commencing at 10.30am.Should you require   accommodation do book on line for special rate, and remember to bring your ICA membership card. In addition to normal ICA business representatives from ‘The Asthma Society,’ Irish Heart Foundation’ and ‘Health & Safety’ will also make presentations. Enjoy the day. 
Spring Federation Meeting
Limerick Federation held its Spring Federation gathering in Woodlands Hotel, Adare, last week. Among the lucky members who will attend National Finals in An Grianan,sponsored by Gempack Foods, are Alma Dillon,Cappamore and Agnes Collins,Castleconnell. May Galvin’s knowledge of birds gained her first prize in a very interesting Comórtas Gaeilge, closely followed by Nora Hennessy of Galbally.This event was organised by Geraldine Cahillane Federation Timire. Comhgairdeas to all who participated.

was laid to rest in Kilkeedy  Burial   ground on Wednesday February 16 RIP and their sister Mrs Noreen Fitzgerald (nee Costelloe),Rivermount,Clarina was buried in the same cemetery on Sunday February 20 2011.
