NEWS FROM THE GUILDS:. Ardagh members are busy at present attending an interior design course and also have a knitting project on hands.
Askeaton/Ballysteen members are planning a day out in the Carlow/Kilkenny area on Monday May 30 and anybody wishing to join them should get contact as soon as possible.
Castletroy: Members are holding an open meeting on Tuesday May 17 in Kilmurry Lodge Hotel commencing at 8.30pm . Kildimo Killulta ICA Painters Art Exhibition ’Bóthairín na Smaointe IV’, in conjunction with Bealtaine Festival ,opens at ‘De Bucket ‘Pub, Ferrybridge at 3pm

CAPPAMORE SHOW : Its all systems go for the forthcoming Show on Saturday August 20 .This the year of the craft is exercising the minds of Show Chairperson Marie Hayes and local ICA members WITH a surprise event being planned for The Biddy Mullane Perpetual Cup. Further details will issue shortly.

A.C.W.W.: At the recent European conference held in Dublin a cheque in the sum of €13,000 was presented by Anne Maria Dennison National ICA President for the provision of water projects in the Third World. This presentation ,which included €13,000 from the Limerick Federation, is much appreciated and many thanks to all .

COMNBHRÓN:Condolences are extended to National ICA PRO Marie O’Toole on the recent death of her husband Martin whose funeral took place on Thursday May 5 following Requiem Mass in St Anne’s Church, Portmarnock .
