Limerick Federation ICA Notes Week ending June 9th

Thanks to everyone who took everyone who took part in the National Breast Cancer Research Walk on Sunday May 13th in Adare.

Any sponsorship money can be submitted at the next Federation Meeting June 20th or forwarded to Joan Hayes, Sandyville Crecora before the end of June.

LAKE DISTRICT:-

Anyone interested in the trip to The Lake District should contact Kathleen Griffin at 061 394241or mobile 087 2172225. The trip takes place from 10th to 14th of September and the cost is €429. A deposit of €50 can be paid at June Federation meeting or directly to Kathleen. Drafts, Cheques or Postal Order should be made payable to Limerick Federation ICA

NEW TEACHTA:-

Anne Rowlands  of Caherdavin Guild is the New Teachta and takes over from Helen Lane who did an excellent job over the last three years. Anne is planning a trip to An Grianán in November from 6th to 8th and the cost is €185.

The Courses include –Cooking for Christmas, Fabric Roses, Christmas Crafts, Computers for Improvers, Christmas Cards, Singing for Pleasure and Beaded Jewellery.

SUMMER FEDERATION MEETING:-

Limerick Federation Summer Federation Meeting takes place in The Woodlands House Hotel Adare. Our newly appointed Federation Officers , led by President Phyllis O Halloran invite all members to come along and give your views. It promises to be a very interesting night. National President Liz Wall will attend so do take this opportunity to come along and meet Liz.

Competition: Anne Gabbett has a lovely competition for the June Federation Meeting. You are asked to make  “A Minature Garden” on a biscuit tin cover no larger than 12 ins . The entry fee is €3 and you are asked to text or ring Anne at 087 6411656 if you intend entering.

Toiletries for Adapt House will also be taken in at the Federation Meeting and your support for this cause is very much appreciated.
