WINTER FEDERATION MEETING
On this Wed Nov 26 the Winter Federation Meeting takes place at Woodlands Hotel, Adare. Commencing at 8pm there is a very interesting agenda, both of local and national interest. Among the items to be discussed are national financial situation and constitutional changes. The winners of both the Federation Art Competition and Cryptic garden quiz will be announced and details of forthcoming Crafts and Activity Days will also be published. Do come along and enjoy the evening.

SHOP ‘TILL YOU DROP!
The Broadford ICA girls, all 44 of them enjoyed a wonderful day out last Saturday in Kildare. Christmas pressies for all their families and friends were attended to, and the new table settings for that special meal are assured after a visit to The Newbridge Centre.
Their next outing, ‘A Sale One’!!! is already being planned .
DANIEL O’DONNELL CONCERT
Special booking facilities are available through National ICA President Carmel Dawson for forthcoming Daniel O’Donnell concert in newly refurbished Point Depot, Dublin. The date is Sat October 17th 2009 and tickets cost €50 each. Tickets for this concert must be secured in advance of the tickets going on
general release.

The campaign for the elimination of Violence Against women runs for 16 days until Dec 10th International Human Rights Day.
This year celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights and
‘Human Rights for Women, Human Rights for All’
is this year’s theme.
