SPRING FEDERATION MEETING

Federation President Marie Hayes will no doubt be in celebratory mode
this Wednesday March 18 as she opens the ICA Spring Federation Meeting in Woodlands Hotel in Adare at 8pm. Bearing in mind the achievements of her 93 times capped for Ireland son John she has every reason to be proud of him and all her ICA colleagues will be with her in spirit in Cardiff next weekend.
Do come along to Adare and join in all the Federation activities and celebrations.

DAFFODIL DAY

Friday next March 20 is Daffodil Day. Whether you volunteer on the day, donate fresh daffodils, hold a coffee morning or a special event, make a donation on line or simply buy a daffodil your gesture will be much appreciated by The Irish Cancer Society. The money raised will go to meet the needs of cancer patients and their families as well as meeting a growing need for information on cancer and support at every stage of the cancer journey.

ART GRANTS

The Community Foundation for Ireland’s Small Grant Scheme makes grants available to not-for-profit and voluntary groups. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and assessed three times a year. Closing deadlines for 2009 are as follows; July 31 and October 30.Further information available on;
