VALUE FOR MONEY
The best way to get value out of ICA membership is by taking part in the activities at both guild and federation level.
The Sports Activity Day held in Cappamore recently was very successful. Twenty two members attended and Kathleen Griffin, sport  and leisure officer will be delighted to organise a few more activity days if guilds are willing to host them.
If Crafts are more your interest then Carol O Keeffe ,craft officer is planning a Crafts Day in the Woodlands Hotel so please let her know what crafts you are interested in.

  WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE
It was good to meet so many ICA ladies at The Women in Agriculture Conference 2011 held in The Lyrath Hotel Kilkenny on Oct 24. This meeting stressed the importance of agriculture in our economy with particular reference to the part played by women in all aspects of the food industry. Many speakers emphasised the importance of producing and cooking good wholesome home produced food. This may be the right time to have a new look at the role of Federation Produce Promoters as well as Guild Produce Promoters.
FEDERATION MEETING.
The winter Federation Meeting will be held in the Woodlands Hotel Adare on Nov 22
