NEW OFFICERS:-
Our new officers elected to lead Limerick Federation ICA in the coming years are
President- Phyllis O Halloran, Kildimo Guild

They are all active members of ICA and they are already well known for their work with Federation.
Under their leadership we hope the organisation will grow and progress to suit the needs of women in todays world.
The AGM held in The Woodlands Hotel Adare was very well attended and we were honoured to have Anne Marie Dennison present.
Anne Gabbett, the outgoing president said it was a great privilege to have held the position. She advised  members to read and study the new ICA Constitution and encouraged all members to support An Grianán as it is a wonderful resource for all of us .As Limerick Federation opened three new guilds in the past three years Anne extended a special welcome to all new members and hoped they were enjoying their time in ICA. She thanked all officers and specialists who worked with her and assured the incoming officers of her help and support at all times.
Anne Marie Dennison, National President said she was delighted to be back home on the night and spoke about the many changes that took place during her term in office. She said it was a great honour to lead the organisation in its centenary year and hoped that it would go on to improve the lives of women in Ireland  and worldwide. As part of ACWW the ICA is involved in two new projects in India bringing water to people in the poorer areas. She said women in particular are very much aware of the necessity of clean water and hoped ICA would continue to support these very worthy projects with “pennies for friendship”.
