ICA Ladies from Limerick will be out experiencing the delights of Autumn next Saturday, Sept. 22nd
Mary Canty, Sports and Leisure Officer has organised a historic walk along Old Stonehall on the outskirts of the lovely Curraghchase Estate. Walkers meet at the crossroads before the entrance to Curraghchase at 11 am.
PITCH AND PUTT:-
The National Pitch and Putt Competition will take place in Sea Point Pitch and Putt Club on Thursday October 11th. A team of four costs €90 and this includes lunch at An Grianán. Entry forms must be in before Sept21st. All entries must include participants names and cheques should be made payable to ICA Contest Committee. B&B at An Grianán costs €45 extra and all enquiries go directly to An Grianán Tel: (041) 9222119
AN GRIANÁN:-
Anne Rowlands tells us that there are still a few places available on the trip to An Grianán from Nov13th to 15th. The cost is €199 for members and €229 for non members. A bus will travel from the Crescent Shopping Centre Limerick. For further details contact Anne at 087 6968690
KILBEHENNY ICA:-
Kilbehenny ICA has resumed activities and they have a varied and interesting programme for the year ahead. The new guild officers are President- Nellie Bailey Secretary- Margaret Doherty Treasurer- Josie Fox and they meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and new members are very welcome.
DOON ICA:-
Doon ICA Guild is back in full swing with lots of classes and interesting speakers. At present they are holding Drama Classes and they have Keep Fit Classes planned for the New Year. If you want to join in the action and the fun then go along to their meetings which are held on the 2ndThursday of each month.
POETRY WORKSHOP:-
Please note that the date for the Poetry Workshop in Abbey feale has been changed to October 20th
